Buying engine oil in 5 litre containers is normally better value per litre than several small bottles, and it means you are not left short partway through a drain and refill. Most four-cylinder engines take between four and five litres, so a single container usually does the job.

5W-30 is the most commonly specified grade on modern cars and you can browse 5 litre 5W-30 engine oil for that selection. For other viscosities in service-sized packs, browse 5 litre 5W-40 engine oil, or start from the grade pages for 0W-20, 0W-30, 5W-20, 15W-40, and 20W-50 engine oil.
